Remote Assistance now available from Computer HELP LLC!

In our continuing efforts to provide our clients with quality computer support, we are happy to announce the addition of remote computer and device assistance through a combination of Help Desk (by Remote PC) and, when applicable, Facetime or Skype.

What is remote assistance and Help Desk?
Help Desk is a program that allows us, with your permission, to directly access your PC or Mac from our home office, thus eliminating the need for a visit to your home or office. Through direct access to your computer, we can perform services such as troubleshooting computer and printing issues, mediating computer slowness, installing updates, running virus and malware scans, teaching specific skills, and much, much more!

How does it work?
At the time of your remote access appointment, you will receive an email from Computer Help containing a link to the RemotePC software. We will call you at the start of the appointment and walk you through the entire process (usually takes only a few minutes to set up) of setting up remote access. Once the connection is made, we will have full access to your computer and can perform any maintenance, troubleshooting, or lesson activities right on your computer as you watch!

When the RemotePC session is over, we return control of your computer back to you and will no longer have access to your computer. This is one of the most secure ways to perform remote computer access.

FaceTime also available!
In addition, if you own an Apple device, such as an iPhone or iPad, we should be able to connect to that device (via Facetime) enabling us to both speak to you and see whatever device you’re having issues with (if the device is not a computer). NOTE: we can also use Skype if you have an android device.

What does it cost?
Our rate for Remote Appointments is $85/hr. The minimum appointment slot is one hour.
Note: Our starting rate for local In-Home appointments is $90. Additional fees may apply if longer travel time is required.
